09:48 pm - IT people help please!!!
I have a problem with my internet connection.
A couple of weeks ago we installed a wireless router and set up connections for all our laptops. Today the connection stopped working, but now that I plugged in the old modem, it can actually connect...
The wireless connecion did not have a password so was accessible from everyone in the area. Might this have anythng to do with it?
Anybody has any ideas?
EDIT Problem sorted!

01:21 am - And so this is Christmas...
So there we are, it's Christmas.
Merry Christmas to everybody...
BUT
Let me spend a couple of words about why I think that this festivity is the most stupid ever (there you go Bertrand)...
First of all, it is a catholic celebration and I am not catholic...
Even if you are catholic, you should know that Christ was not born in these days at all. Then why do we celebrate Christmas at this time? Easy, the reason is that when the catholic church was born it needed to wipe out traditional pagan celebrations. In this case it is Yule, a festivity that celebrated the return of light over darkness. Indeed after the 21st of december, the winter solstice, shortest day of the year, daylight starts getting longer to prevail over winter darkness. Catholics were smart as they overlapped their new festivities over the old ones so that people could get easily used to them. People did not care what they were celebrating as long as there was a party :-)
And I will not go over the no values, consumistic, materialist rant, as it is banal and everybody heard it so many times.
But yes Merry Christmas everybody anyway.
I wish you all give your own personal meaning to this festivity and that something good comes out of it.
P.S. Being in Italy and seeing my relatives brings out my cynical side :-)

06:44 pm - New venue for Combichrist gig
IMPORTANT INFO RE; COMBICHRIST.
This has been a sellout show and due to the number of people still clamouring for tickets Flag Promotions is moving the event to a larger venue in order to accommodate more people. The event will no longer be held at Dingwalls/Lock17 in Camden but will now be moved to the Islington Academy. The event has also been moved back by half an hour. Doors will now open at 6.30pm and Trauma Pet will kick off at 7pm. The event will finish between 11.15 and 11.30pm. Please spread the word.
Due to this last minute change, Flag Promotions will also be providing a shuttle service between Dingwall's and Islington Academy for any who fail to find out the venue change. This is the reason why the time has been moved back.

10:09 pm - New job...
After two days in the new job I can almost without doubt say IT REALLY SUCKS!!!
Actually I will give myself a few more days to be sure but from what I have seen until now it is the most boring job I have ever done, a couple of months in there and I will become a zombie... Silence in that office is absolutely scary... At the interview they told me there is only a little amount of accountability, the truth is I am an account receivable... It's almost all accountability!
Well after the first moment of disappointment I decided I will not let this bring me down. I have been depressed enough recently and I think it is quite time to react. I still have an offer from the localisation place, I will hold on until they start the new department and then probably leave. A bit less money but much more fun and freedom with my look! :-)
Anyway a big thanks to all those people who have disappointed me recently not being there when I needed them. I just needed some support as I was going through a hard time. The good thing is that I have realised that on the other hand there are people I can still count on and I will take care to treat them as they deserve.
Big changes to come, I'm not scared...
